Barn Owl and Ginkgo Mug

Awwww I love this one. I never get tired of painting barn owls, this one has such a nice expression. 

This mug is extensively painted around the whole outside, it is gorgeous from every angle! Unglazed and burnished painted areas stand out with colorful glazes, providing an interesting tactile and visual contrast. Carved lines are glaze filled.

All unglazed areas are treated with liquid quartz which provides protection from oils, dirt and UV damage.
